Tenaciousness can carry an negative connotation at times. Someone being considered tenacious can be linked to being rude, aggressive, and without care and concern for others. Isn’t it amazing how the Lord can turn whatever He desires from negative to positive for His glory? Let’s consider this verse:
“Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior].” Hebrews 4:14 AMP
The amplified version of Hebrews 4:14 exhorts believers to cling tenaciously! Let us cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in the Father! Let’s be firm, aggressive, and without care or concern for the things of the world when it comes to trusting in our Father! Let’s be unwilling to yield or compromise when it comes to holding to our confession and our faith in the Lord our God.
The world will want to define you as foolish, naive, and silly for clinging to Someone who you cannot see, touch, or feel. This world will want us to loosen our grip and grab on to the tangible and the destructible. The Word gives us that warning:
Be tenacious for our Father! Cling to our Creator! This concept of clinging requires focus, strength, patience and love. Your firm grasp is power! Your faith will move the mountains of your life, if only we can remember to cling tenaciously.
Be unwavering in articulating about the power of the Lord our God. Be passionate about demonstrating the love of God through Jesus Christ. Be immovable about declaring the goodness of God.
Sisters, let’s cling tenaciously to the very One who saved us from the brink of death. Let’s cling to our Savior.
In order to experience life, you must know about death. In order to experience healing, you must know about pain. In order to experience abundance, you must know about not having enough. In order to experience victory, you must know about being defeated.
The more we live, the more we realize that there is power in the name of Jesus. We know He is the life giver. We know He is the healer. We know He is the provider. We know He is victorious. We know that there is a Name that is above all names.
His Name is Peace. His Name is Lord. He is the Provider. He is Victorious. The Lord, our Banner. Jehovah Jireh. Jehovah Nissi. Jehovah Shalom. Jesus. Messiah. Lord. Savior. More than A Conqueror.
There is a name that saves:
There is a name that will bring us to our knees, the name of the Lord our God! How blessed are we as we cry out to our Father, He comes to our rescue? What name on Earth or Heaven has the power to move mountains? The name of the Lord, our God!
“Help me, Jesus“ can be the start to our breakthrough! Let’s call on the name of the Lord instead calling on the issues that weigh us down. Instead of calling on the name of diseases and diagnoses, let’s call on the Name of our Healer. Instead of calling ourselves “a hot mess”, let’s proclaim that we are blessed!
Sister, you lack absolutely NOTHING! Are you hearing the voice of the Lord? In Him, you have all that you need! Now, we are not ignorant to the fact that there are things that you may not have and there may be things that you desire-but lack is not your portion. In Christ, we shall not want.
The world can make us feel like we are lacking all that we need, all that we want, and all that we desire. Remove that concept of lack from the seat of your heart. It has no place, it’s sitting in the Father’s seat. As His child, how can we subscribe to the lies of the enemy?
Sisters, we have all we need! We don’t have to covet the things our family and friends have, your Heavenly Father is the very Creator of the Universe. He gave us the most precious gift we could ever receive, His One and Only Son. Salvation is priceless, joy cannot be priced, and peace is freely given to all who profess Christ. We do not have to want for anything.
Tell that ugly voice of lack to have a seat! It has no place with us. Tell Satan that he is a liar. The King of our heart will grant us the desires of our heart as we delight in Him. The only One we need is Christ.
Every time the perceived notion of lack tries to speak: whisper this truth over you: “And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Blessings are usually equates to what we have, what we obtained and what we have received from the world. Ah, but the Lord defines blessed in a different, more beautiful way:
Your material possessions do not determine your blessings. Your ability to preach or sing or quote scripture doesn’t determine your blessings. Amazingly enough, your faith is your blessing meter! Mary is decreed blessed because she trusted in what the Lord was doing in her life. She trusted in what the Lord said to her by way of the angel.
You are blessed by the best because you believe in the Word of God. You are blessed because you know that God is not a man that He should lie. You are blessed because of your faith that can move mountains! Your blessed state isn’t the size of your bank account, it’s the size of your faith!
Mary was decreed blessed before she became pregnant with Jesus, she was blessed because she believed.
And so are you…so go on with your blessed self! 😉💜
This can be the hardest task for women. Silence. Let’s face it, we have the gift of gab! Extroverts and introverts alike…we either enjoy talking to many people or our one favorite person, we can go a mile a minute or need a reboot after a conversation, but we enjoy talking. And why not?! The Lord did give us a voice and words to use. Our words and our voice have power!
But there are those moments when the old adage reigns true: silence is golden. While we are not sure where the saying comes from, we do know that the Word of God says it first:
Sometimes we have to choose silence. Oh challenging that can be! We want to say what we gotta say. We want to be heard, especially when we are upset-if we can be transparent-we are ready to speak our mind and stand our ground!
So naturally (well actually supernaturally), the Lord tells us to be silent-the absolute last thing we want to be. Ah, but it is in the silence where the Lord can speak the loudest. And when we are engaged in battle with the enemy, when we are steaming, we need to hear the voice of the Lord. He is the voice of wisdom. He is truth. He is our protector.
As you engage in spiritual warfare, before speaking-choose silence. Your silence will signal the Savior!
We just wanted to share that Saturday Prayer Sessions are temporarily paused until August 21st! The Lord is doing something new and we are excited to seek His Face and His Will as He lays out the plan and path.
But! We are still here for prayer requests so please feel free to share! Sistershelpingsisters757@gmail.com
We’ve spent the last 6 months soaking in the promises of the Lord. Continue to do so! There is so much He wants to say to us, it’s no way SHS could capture them all!
We wanted to share one important promise as we continue to seek His Word:
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for each and every sister encountering this post. Oh Lord, we thank you for every promise that we’ve encountered in Your Word. We rejoice for all of your promises are Yes and Amen! We declare that we will see the manifestation of your promises over our lives and over the lives of our loved ones! We thank you even now for being a GOOD, GOOD Father! Father, hear the heart cries of our sisters. Hear the silent tears, hear the unspoken prayer requests, and hear the weariness of their souls. Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers and answering them. We bind the lies of the enemy and loose the truth from you Oh God. May we trust that Your Word will never fail simply because you said so. In Christ name, we pray, Amen!
There are nooks and crannies of our past that we do not want anyone to see. The enemy desires to magnify those dark areas of our past to keep us from pursuing our desires and goals. Essentially, whether we realize it or not, we place those dark things of our past on the throne seat of our hearts.
At the root of it all is shame. We are ashamed of the choices we made, the connections we created, and the consequences of our decisions. Shame cannot sit in the place that was created for our Father. Sister, shame cannot be magnified. Shame cannot take the place of the Lord and Savior of our life.
Sister, did you see the declaration of the Lord your God?! He says you will forget the shame of your youth! So it has to be removed from the nooks and crannies of your life! Shine the Father’s light on those dark and hidden places. Make Satan and his minions bow to the truth of the King! Shame has been dethroned! You are no longer bounded by the foolishness of your past.
We have been redeemed, sister. We have been set free as we declare Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Let’s dethrone that ugly face of shame. We must live unashamed! We must live set free. We must remember that we have been forgiven by our Good, Good Father.
For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” Romans 10:11
Moms, Aunties, Caregivers: Remember how it was letting your little one get dressed all on their own? You are running behind but you need to let the little one learn how to get dressed by themselves. And they can be quite persistent, right? They may have a tantrum or cry, but they are determined to do it all on their own. And you are standing there, patiently waiting (or impatiently waiting…), thinking to yourself, if only they would ask me for help, I could help them out.
Can’t help but to wonder if the Father is standing there looking at us, as we cry, tantrum, and throw a whole fit, trying to figure out our problem. We can’t help but to wonder if the Father looks at us saying: If only they asked for help, I could help them.
That pesky spirit of control can be such a hindrance to our heart’s desires. If we would bow to the Father and lay down our challenges, our struggles, and weaknesses, imagine what the Lord our God could do for us! Imagine if we simply surrendered and asked the Lord for help, what could be accomplished.
There is power in asking the Father for help. He is that patient parent, just waiting for us to surrender. He is that loving Savior who wants to see us abundantly blessed. He longs to be Lord over every inch of our lives. The Father is not here to see us struggle, when He holds the world in His hands. The Creator of the Universe is not in place to see His children forsaken.
Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Ask the Lord to help you finish that book. Ask the Lord to release healing onto that hurting loved one. Ask the Father to increase your finances. Seek the Savior for that new job.
We pray that you will re-focus. Instead seeing how numerous and massive your problems are, you will see the wonder of the Father’s works in your life. May you see how amazing and strategic the Father is as He orders your steps according to His Word. May you whisper the promises of the King over yourself as the lies of the world try to envelope you.
Our sister, may you grasp just how wide, how deep, and how long the Father’s love is for you! It’s time to re-focus on the Refiner. It’s time to put your eyes on Perfect Peace. It is time to focus on the Author and Finisher of your amazing life’s story.
Re-focus and see just how wonderfully the Father is working in your life.
