Clear Vision…

The messages and sermons on vision this year are probably endless. 20/20 is good vision, right?! However, it’s probably been a little tough to see the good in 2020. With COVID, death, social unrest, natural disasters, and numerous other issues, seeing the good in it all can be rather difficult, one can imagine.

If that is all that you are seeing, it’s time to correct your vision. Yes, the trials and tribulations are ever present but so is the goodness of the Lord! Let’s look to the Word of God to help clear our vision:

Friends, we know that you are seeing the devastation of the coronavirus and the sadness of racism but we want to encourage you to see the Lord at work. Be confident in seeing the goodness of the Lord.

Reconciliation is taking place as conversations about race are happening. The Lord still heals as we hear of those who have recovered from COVID. People are still getting jobs in this season of layoffs. The goodness of the Lord is still here in the land of the living! Will we look and see? Will we clear our vision to see the Lord’s hand in the midst of it all?

Be determined to see the movement of God. The blood still works! The Lord still heals! Jesus is still very real! Let’s set our sights on our Father so we can see His goodness in the midst of pain and heartache! We clear our vision by focusing on our Savior.

This world, its worries and woes, will all pass away, and the goodness of the Lord will forever stand.

Will you remain confident in this, that you will see the goodness of the Lord?

Provision.

Provision: God will provide for the vision. Provision. Dreams can be big and intimidating. They say if your dream doesn’t scare you, it’s not big enough.

As God is the Creator of the Universe, one can only imagine the magnitude of dreams and visions that He is birthing inside of believers. But yet, we crush those visions and kill those dreams as we wonder, how will it get done? And we wonder, who will provide for the vision and dream?

The Creator of LIFE is using YOU to do great works. And if He is using YOU to do great works, He will provide for YOU. He will cause doors to open that you never imagined. He will cause people to be generous to you for no apparent reason. He will plant people in your life with the same exact dream and vision.

Will you trust in the One who provided the vision? Will you believe in the Creator of your dream? Of your deepest desire? He planted that MASSIVE dream in you, will you trust Him today to do what He crafted you to do?

Plant His promise to you as you dream your big dreams. Remember His Word as you are blessed with the house and car. Remember the fact that He generously supplies all that you need.

Hold tight to this version of the above scripture: “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

Again.

“They came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and brought him out of the village. Spitting on his eyes and laying his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people — they look like trees walking.” Mark 8:22‭-‬24 CSB

The Lord is so methodical in His Word and His approach. He led the blind man out of the village. He spit on His eyes. And then He asks the man if He sees anything. Listen, the Lord does not need to wonder if what He did works! He is God in flesh, He knows that all power and authority rests in His hands! All healing, all power, all protection, is in His hands. Everything He does is full and complete. He is the fulfillment of the law.

He did this for us…

Again Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes. The man looked intently and his sight was restored and he saw everything clearly.” Mark 8:25

The (formerly) blind man didn’t leave the Lord. He didnt say that now he needed to figure it out on his own. He stayed. He believed the Lord.

The again was for us. We serve a one and done Lord. He does not need to do anything again. The again reveals the perservance needed to achieve our healing, our blessings, our heart’s desires.

How frequently do we pursue the Lord for that vision or dream we saw in part? How many of us pray again? How many of us fast again? How many of us praise again? Are we Jacob, unwilling to let go until we are blessed (Genesis 32:26)?

He will reveal the vision, we just need to ask again. He will restore, we just need to believe again. He will forgive, we just need to repent again. He will provide, we just need to trust Him again.

As you stand again, waiting for the Lord to move, be encouraged by the blind man’s willingness to be present and wait for the Lord to do it again. He waited his harvest, believe again and wait for yours.

Accomplishing the Impossible

We tend to stray away from the impossible as humans. We like to focus on the accomplishments that can be done by our human hands and resources. Perhaps it’s because we consciously or unconsciously want to take all of the credit. Or maybe it’s because our limited and finite minds cannot venture into the impossible. Either way, we tend to tread in safe waters.

And the definition of impossible varies from person to person. For one, the impossible may be traveling the world when you’ve never left your city. For another, it may be starting your own business.

Whatever impossible is for you, be encouraged you to launch out into the deep! Dream BIG! Shoot for the impossible! It is time for you to move away from the shore and to go into that uncomfortable territory.

Venturing out into the impossible strips you of your strength and places the control into the Lord’s hand. And who better to do that than God?! He specializes in the impossible!

God can do exceedingly and abundantly all that we ask! There is absolutely NOTHING that is impossible with God. Are you willing to trust Him with your impossible? Are you willing to dream big for Him?

Say that impossible thing out loud! With fear and trembling, pray that big dream and vision to God. Don’t be discouraged by your past or circumstances. Don’t be limited by your perceived resources.

The Creator of the Universe longs to see the desires of your heart met. He is a good, good Father who will take you by the hand as you launch out into the deep. He is unlimited in His power and He wants you to trust Him with all that you have, even those big plans you have for yourself.

Accomplish the impossible by leaning on the One who overcame the impossible.
