The Hands of the Lord…

Ezra repeatedly mentions how the “hand of God” was upon him as he was leading the third group of exiles back to Judah/Jerusalem.

If you have a little one or perhaps have cared for one, think about why you have your hands on them. Perhaps you are guiding them as they are learning how to walk, perhaps you are teaching them how to do an activity, or maybe you are simply showing them that you care for them. Either way, your hands signified love and direction.

This was true for Ezra and this is true for you. Ezra 7 details how the “good hand of his God was on him”. This hand gave him the confidence to ask for what he needed to get back to Jerusalem. He was provided with confidence, courage and provision for the journey. This is how you know that Ezra was headed in the right direction.

Ezra’s story is also proof on how you will know that the Lord has His hands on you. You will receive the courage you need, you will receive the confidence you need, and you will receive the provision you need for your journey! You will receive the favor of “kings” because the good hand of the Lord, your God, is upon you!

His hands lets you know that you are in His plan.

You are protected with the hands of the Lord. His hands will protect you from the snare of your enemy. His hands shield the fiery arrows that frequently come your way. You are loved with the hands of the Lord. Just like your hand was held by your caregiver and loved one, you are guided by the hand of the Lord, your God.

As you walk in His purpose and plan, you are led by His hand.

He is Intentional…

While the heading may bring to mind the popular song by Travis Greene, let’s also consider the book of Exodus.

Exodus is a beautiful story of the children of Israel transition from Egypt. The book chronicles the people’s transition and gives a detailed description of what life should look like as they head to new territory. God gives intricate details of what the priest robes should look like, how the ark should be made, and who should do the work.

Our Lord was intentional then, and He is intentional now. We cannot miss His attention to detail. The construction of the Tabernacle was detailed from the top to the bottom, including the utensils and lamp stands!

He’s intentional and He cares about every nook and cranny of your life. He cares about the parts you rave about and the corners that you try to hide. He wants to mold and craft each and every part of your life. He cares about the parts you cry about in private and your future dreams. He is able to craft your path to success. He is able to assign the right people to help you on your way. He assures that provision is available for every need that you may have.

So view Exodus and it’s details from a different perspective. As He did it for the children of Israel, He will also do it for you. As you give it to Him, He will provide and He will create.

He is intentional…

Provision.

Provision: God will provide for the vision. Provision. Dreams can be big and intimidating. They say if your dream doesn’t scare you, it’s not big enough.

As God is the Creator of the Universe, one can only imagine the magnitude of dreams and visions that He is birthing inside of believers. But yet, we crush those visions and kill those dreams as we wonder, how will it get done? And we wonder, who will provide for the vision and dream?

The Creator of LIFE is using YOU to do great works. And if He is using YOU to do great works, He will provide for YOU. He will cause doors to open that you never imagined. He will cause people to be generous to you for no apparent reason. He will plant people in your life with the same exact dream and vision.

Will you trust in the One who provided the vision? Will you believe in the Creator of your dream? Of your deepest desire? He planted that MASSIVE dream in you, will you trust Him today to do what He crafted you to do?

Plant His promise to you as you dream your big dreams. Remember His Word as you are blessed with the house and car. Remember the fact that He generously supplies all that you need.

Hold tight to this version of the above scripture: “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
