“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” Henry Ford
Have you ever taught a young child how to do something? When experiencing difficulty, they usually say-“I can’t do it” or “It’s not working”. As the adult, you generally find another strategy to use so that they can gain the concept. You may even simply encourage them to try again. And whether it takes once or five more times, they usually get it done.
The usage of “can’t” prohibits us. Saying that we cannot do something limits us. Every variation of cannot limits us and if we think about it, we limit the movement of God. Instead of saying, “I can’t give it up” or “I don’t have what it takes to accomplish this task”, we must switch our language to focusing on what God can do. The moment “can’t” leaves your lips, it manifests! There is life and death in the power of the tongue.
Let’s remove those limitations, let’s take the limits off! May we diminish the power of the “can’t”! May we decrease it’s power and increase the power of the Lord in our lives! The Lord can and will do that which is according to His will and His way! Let’s take our eyes off the “can’t” and put it on the “can” of the Lord! What can God do? He can do the impossible:
The moment “can’t” tries to leave your lips, submit that thought immediately to the Lord. You can lead that business. You can start that company. You can become debt free. You can be healed and made whole. This isn’t about prosperity gospel, this is about acknowledging and submitting to the power of the Lord!
Destroy the power of “can’t” and allow what the Lord can do in you and through you be made manifest in your life!
Peace and Blessings
Amen. Thank you for sharing this message and I like the quote as well. Have a great day/night and remain safe.
