Being a child of God, we are naturally promised His blessings and gifts. What an honor and privilege that is?! We should rejoice in being able to receive God’s best! We want it all, right?!
However, as we grow in relationship with God the Father and Christ the Savior, we recognize that we are not only recipients of God’s promises, we are also burdened with persecution, trials, and tribulations. We experience the impact of weapons as they are formed against us.
Wanting all that God has for you comes with promises and blessings and problems and persecutions. All that He has for you involves trials and triumphs. And sometimes God’s best is best experienced when we have encountered the pang of a weapon that has formed against us.
We are here to tell you, friend, all that God has for you involves trials. All that God has for you involves suffering. All that God has for you involves some suffering. However, take refuge in the fact that He is not here to beat us down and it does not make Him glad to see us suffer, quite the contrary! He knows that trials weaken the flesh but strengthen the spirit. He knows that overcoming obstacles helps us understand the meaning of victory. He knows that with suffering we develop a deeper and more intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit as our Comforter.
Should we still want all He has for us?! Absolutely! We may suffer but He promises to strengthen and restore us! We may experience rejection but He knows that He will confirm us and we will be accepted by Him. We may suffer but we are blessed! He knows that the persecution experienced on Earth cannot begin to compare to the eternal glory that awaits us in Heaven.
Let’s want ALL that God has for us! Even if we have to proclaim it with fear and trembling. No matter the weapon, it won’t prosper. No matter the obstacles, we will more than conquer it. No matter the fire, it will not consume us.
Our Father in glory has a crown of life that awaits us.
Peace and Blessings
